1. Diversifiable Risk:
Sometimes called unsystematic risk or particular risk, is the risk that affects only some individuals, some businesses, or some small groups.
2. Nondiversifiable Risk:
Sometimes called systematic risk or fundamental risk, is the risk that affects large segment of society at the same time.
3. Pure risk
The risk with the chance of loss but no chance of gain
